Course Outline

About the Instructors:

Nina Lloyd, CFP, CRPC – With 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Nina serves as President and CEO of Opus Financial Advisors and is a Register Representative with FSC Securities Corporation. As a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Nina works closely with a diverse client base in a fiduciary capacity throughout the Triangle and the Charlotte Metro markets. Nina is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in Economics and Environmental Studies.

Janna Deegan, CPA – Janna brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to financial literacy to the financial planning industry. She received a master’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1998. She enjoyed a successful career with IBM as a finance and accounting manager before becoming an investment manager for individuals across North Carolina. Janna is a Register Representative with FSC Securities Corporation and a Financial Advisor at Opus Financial Advisors.

Participants will also receive a comprehensive Financial Planning Workbook as a take-home guide – a valuable reference tool for the future! 

Notes

This course is in-person at the Friday Conference Center and consists of two sessions, Tuesday, and Thursday, April 18, and 20. 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. The fee is $35.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be received in writing at least one week before the start of classes. You will be issued a refund, less a $10 administrative fee. Contact Student Services at stuserv@unc.edu.

Alternatively, participant substitutions are welcome. If you cannot attend, please contact Student Services with the name of the individual who will take your place.
