Fall is in the air with crisp autumn breezes, changing leaves, and opportunities to reimagine new ways of learning! Discover a new interest, discuss compelling subjects with peers and scholars, and gain new insights to apply to your day-to-day life. Whatever your motivation, our enrichment classes are meant to stimulate your mind and reawaken your curiosity.

Most classes meet either Wednesday (single-session) or Tuesdays and Thursdays (double-session) from 10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Classes will meet in-person or via Zoom video conferencing software. See each course for details.

Online courses: Zoom meeting link provided prior to the course start date.

In-person courses: The two following courses will take place in-person (subject to change):

  • Are You Smarter Than Your Smart Phone? Basic iPhone 101 Training
  • The "Grand Paris" Project in the 21st Century

Our programming policies follow UNC-Chapel Hill Community Standards and are subject to change. In concordance with these standards, masks are required for all in-person courses, regardless of vaccination status. See the COVID-19 Community Standards for more information.

Fees range from $15-$45 per class. Registration required.

Single Session Courses:  $15 online; $25 in-person

Double Session Courses: $25 online; $35 in-person

Three-session (Are U Smarter Than Your Smart Phone?) Course: $45 in-person

PLEASE NOTE: This is a new system (as of Fall 2019). You will need to create a NEW username and password in order to enroll in a course.

Each course fee ranges from $15-45. Payment must accompany registration. 

You can register for Daytime Enrichment classes by adding them to your cart and then selecting Checkout.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

To receive a refund, less a $10 administrative fee, cancellation must be received in writing at least one week before the start of classes. Please contact Derek Just, Registration Manager at derekj@email.unc.edu.
 
Alternatively, participant substitutions are welcome. If you cannot attend an event, you can contact Derek Just with the name of the individual who will take your place.
